I got started in photography because my teenage daughter wanted photos of her ballet performances. After figuring out how to do photos with available light in a theater setting, I began to take night classes in other areas. I live close to Longwood Gardens, which is a constant source of inspiration.

I shoot with a Canon 70D and an 85mm/F1.8, 100mm/F2.8 macro, and the kit 28-135 zoom. Just added a Tamron 70-300mm for distance and an 18-55mm wide angle. I also use a Canon G15 compact camera and Google Pixel phone, so I am always ready.
