Melissa -Thank you for your kind comments. I'm pleased with the way this picture came out, but honestly can't claim any great artistic ability. It was almost all luck. I was using a 70-200mm lens to take macro pictures of some orchids in our sun room. Maggie came in and curled up in a sunny spot on the floor. I simply turned the tripod around and she let me snap about 30 shots before she came over to lick the camera. Sorry, no great insights, just luck and lots of exposures.
