Uploaded: March 03, 2006 23:15:01
Taken during the DC Metro Area Mormon Temple's holiday light display. Sigma 28-135mm lens. RAW capture. The effect was achieved by trial and error zooming while the shutter was open. Some cropping, clean up, color adjustment and sharpening in CS2 and PS 7.0.

Is this the Mormon Temple that can be seen from the Beltway? I've always wanted to capture that temple. Nicely done!Very nice gallery too!

Thanks, Mike...Yes, you are right about the location of the Temple. This shot was taken from a hill adjacent to the parking lot during the Christmas lights display, which is a wonderful photo op from anywhere on the grounds, by the way. I'd love to get a shot of the Beltway view you're speaking of. Thanks, too, for checking out my gallery!
