Hawk Eye... [Contest Winner Pool December 2005 ]
Uploaded: December 19, 2005 16:53:00
The red shoulder hawk seems unamused as I approached within 12 feet as he rested in the bush tops at Ding Darling Nature Preserve, Sanibel Island, Florida. The reflection of the afternoon sun gives sparkle to his ever ready and vigilant eye... Canon 600 w 1.4 Xt and extension tube with fill flash at -1.00 and ec of - 1 1/3 to darken background.

Graeme, Cindy, Sharon, Cindy and Helen - Thank you for your comments and taking the time to answer. Sorry we are so late with our thanks, but we have been doing some traveling during the weekends and then regular work during the week. It gets difficult to keep up sometimes... We do appreciate your comments and enjoyed looking at all of your work! Keep up the good work...
