Sierra Twilight - Lake Tahoe [Contest Winner Pool March 2005 Nature Photography and Landscapes]
Uploaded: March 30, 2005 03:12:39
Clear skies produced an unexpectedly vibrant sunset along the west shore of Lake Tahoe in California's Sierra. I scoped out this location that afternoon, then headed back at sundown. This image was taken about 5 minutes after sunset, with the north-shore peaks in the distance. Canon 28-135mm IS, Fuji Velvia 100F, Gitzo tripod, 2-3 second exposure, f16.
