Swift River, Lower Falls [124 Nature & Landscapes]
Uploaded: December 17, 2004 12:00:59
Located off the Kancamagus Highway in NH's White Mountains, this is one of the most beautiful rivers to photograph in any season. Because the river is easily accessible to cars, I chose a rainy day to limit the chances of peolple ending up in the photo as the river's pools make great swimming holes. A polarizing filter was used to eliminate glare from the wet foliage and saturate colors. F22, Fuji Velvia 50, rated 40, 2 second exposure,Pentax 45-70mm SMC lens, Bogen tripod, umbrella.
