First rays of light on the Sawtooth Mountains of Idaho. The air temperature was in the upper 20s (-3C) and the water of Redfish Lake was still warm, causing the mist on the water.

Oh man, this is definitely my fave of your latest postings, Ken. This is one of those images that needs to be printed four feet wide on canvas and hung on the biggest wall you have. Great detail buddy! When you create an image that makes the viewer want to walk right into it, you've succeeded. Great image. And as much as I want to see it big, it makes a great new avatar too! ;-) #9777388Renee Doyle March 27, 2013

Dear Photo Friend: I feel that something has changed at Better Photo but cannot tell you just what has happened. I have been here since 2003 and most every month I have written to all the winners telling them how their work touches me. I have witnessed photographs that bring tears to my eyes and colors that are unbelievable, now I am worried that like all good things that it will not be here the next time I look.Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
