Changes to Come [Nature & Landscapes]

Camped along this frozen alpine Lake, and getting ready to leave, I noticed misty skies decending like a tidal wave on my location. I ran for the camera and tripod, and captured a few exposures before the world went white.
I used a Canon 17-40 L Lens and exposed Fujichrome Velvia for 1/20 of a second at F19 for the sun-star effect. PS CS used to remove a little solar flare. Scanned with a Nikon 8000 Digital ICE.
