F 4.0, 16 Sec., ISO 100, Tungsten. I took this view previously during summer, but wanted to see if reflected snow and full moon would brighten it up. Of course, this time it was nearly dawn and the sky was lighter. It was also a LOT colder!

Excellent capture, Dorothy! Braving the cold was definately worth it to get this fantastic shot! #199766Marcie A. Fowler December 28, 2004
Beautifully seen and captured. Definitely cold in New England this time of year. High for today here is supposed to be around 12 degrees. At least it is above 0. #999731Allan L. Whitehead December 28, 2004

Brilliant Dorothy!! #1000243Dorothy Neumann December 28, 2004
Thanks for the positive feedback Donald, Marcie, Allan, Sanjay, Paul C, Sharon, Charlene and Laurence! I've attempted this shot so many times, I no longer can see it objectively, so I'm glad to hear that you like it!Marcie, it was about 15 degrees when I took this. I'd be happy to hear any tips about keeping warm while taking winter shots. The buttons on my camera are so teeny I would never be able to find them if I were wearing gloves. And that tripod is cold, too! #1000379

Big congratulations on this outstanding image, Dorothy! #1045338Dorothy Neumann January 18, 2005
Thanks Karma, RoxAnne, Kathleen, Noel and Sharon! I appreciate your enthusiasm, RoxAnne. I don't know if it was the cold weather or what, but the morning I took this the camera seemed to be having a hard time focusing. Perhaps it was the cold temps. Out of ten shots, only two were in focus. I'm glad it turned out! #1045391Cindy Paquette January 18, 2005
