Thanks michelle, Jack, Usman and Courtenay for your nice comments.This is the second time I've tempted fate with this painful and highly protective species of wasp.
Thankfully in both instances, no attack command was ordered and I was allowed to sneak in to get my photos and quietly back away without getting nailed.
