Old Hummingbird
Uploaded: June 01, 2011 14:08:39
This Green Violet-ear hummingbird looks like it has been through a few battles. Though small, hummingbirds are very territorial and fight each other constantly, it seems, for best feed spots and mates. This bird was photographed in the high altitude cloud forests of Costa Rica.
