Terrific Finalist, Graham; beautifully captured! Where is this building? It is fantastic, and I can only imagine hanging out on one of those balconies, hopefully with a great view! #8835642Graham J. Weiss August 15, 2010
G'day Chris. Appreciate that. There's a cluster of really interesting architecture in this location, from wavy roofs, bridges and sculptures, to stadiums etc. This building is located in amongst it and is the edge of what used to be our docks in Melbourne, Aust, and now transformed (or getting there) with massive reconstruction of the old crumbling wharves and ports into a suburb called Docklands. It signifies the edge of the old CBD and now becomes the continuation of the city of Melbourne, perhaps doubling it's size. This building was actually still under construction when I shot it. #8837394
