Uploaded: March 13, 2010 15:35:23
Insect activity is on the rise for 2010, and I manage to capture this image of a live beetle today.
F32, 1/200s, ISO200, Ringflash, +4 diopter lens, plus a stack of extension tubes (12mm +20mm + 36mm Kenko) in between the camera and my 60mm Nikkor macro lens. This gives an approximate magnification of 3.5. I adjusted exposure, contrast, and reduced noise application. Taken in Raleigh, NC USA on March 13, 2010
Exif: F Number: 32, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 1/200 seconds, Flash: fired, compulsory flash mode, return light detected, ISO: 200, White balance: Auto white balance, FocalLength: 60.00 mm, Model: NIKON D90
