This is awesome, UV.UB. #6871066

The detail and capture are amazing UV! The background is a bit bothersome to me though....it looks like you tried doing some cloning that didn't blend well. I could be wrong and it could just be the grasses in the backgroun. This is a shot that I think would look great with one of your gradient backgrounds in greens. :~) #6871182Dale Hardin December 09, 2008
Nice capture Ulysses. Very good comp also and I like the divided attention from the two gazes. The background is a little distracting as Aimee mentioned but I think a simple cloning out of the flowers would suffice. The one right next to the fur on the right can be easily done by cloning from the border of fur just above it. #6871449

Terrific details and capture, Ulysses. Love how they posed for you. #6871538Irene Colling December 09, 2008
Perfect composition Ulysses. You captured a wonderful pose and the detail is excellent.
I like the background because it gives a sense of place. I would not clone out the flowers as I like the bit of color they give.
If this were my photo I would not replace the background. I would lower the saturation of the background and use a gradient layer behind the animals set to overlay. That would brighten the area immediatly behind the animals but leave them in a natural looking environment. #6872369

A wonderful and very cute capture, Ulysses! #6872707Debbie E. Payne December 09, 2008
Great shot, Ulysses. I have a couple of meerkat images to work on. Irene, I obviously need to know A LOT more about layering because I haven't got a clue about what you just said. Vague ideas but that's all. I need to study this whole layers thing MORE! #6872899Jodi M. Walsh December 09, 2008
excellent detail. I also like the background and think irene's suggestions would be worth a try. you continue to be master of the animal shots! #6873292Aimee C. Eisaman December 10, 2008
I think I got misunderstood here. I actually like the flowers and the background, but to the left (our left) of the one standing straight up it looks like cloning was done there and I was just saying if it was cloning that it was noticable! #6875064Dale Hardin December 10, 2008
I like Irene's suggestion better than my own. Thanks for the tip Irene. #6875418M.Christine Duncan December 23, 2008
