Lisa, Carolyn, Deb, Janice, and Dominick, I'm overwhelmed by your nice comments. Thank you all so much. I really appreciate it. Took this at the Whittier car show last week.I actually had another project idea in mind when I shot it but that didn't pan out. Still, I'm very happy with the result.
Thanks again, you've made my day. #6360339

Classy and stylin', Dale!!! Gorgeous work! #6360521Chuck Bruton August 24, 2008
Beautiful effect DaleDale Hardin August 24, 2008
Thank you Bonnie. I loved your gallery but with the new format there appears to be no way to make galleries favorites any longer. Bummer. #6360992Dale Hardin August 24, 2008
Thanks Chuck. I see you've been busy snapping some beauties yourself. Those Studebaker shots sure brought back some memories. #6361011Daniella Puente August 24, 2008
Excellent presentation Dale! #6361330Dale Hardin August 24, 2008
Thanks very much Daniella. #6361767Aimee C. Eisaman August 25, 2008
Seriously Dale you need to take tons of photos of old cars and make a book with some info. about each car. My father in law has a hardcover book of Cars from a particular photographer and your work is so much better! This shot is to die for! Even if you don't have a thing for old cars you have to appreciate this! #6365590Dale Hardin August 25, 2008
Thanks so much Aimee. I am working on that now but my problem has been getting the data on the cars. When I go on a shoot I really need someone to talk to the owners and record that info so I can link it to the images.I did make a book last year and that turned out well enough that it inspired me to make another. You can view it here.

I'm afraid this version will be similar to the last one but hopefully I can get someone to help me on the next outing so I can make one like the one you suggested. Wish me luck. #6366662

Excellent photo Dale.I checked out the shutterfly site Dale. No wonder you have such wonderful car photo's....you're stealing them from a book ;-)
The book is awsome. You have a lot to be proud of there. #6367634
Aimee C. Eisaman August 25, 2008
Wow Dale that was a really nice book! Like you said...if you could get some background info. to have more text you would be in business! Take your writing pad with you or better yet a voice recorder would make things speedy and you could get alot of info in a short period of time just by gabbing! #6367714M.Christine Duncan August 25, 2008
Your passion for a great image is what actually makes these works stand out I think! You've nailed how to capture their allure.... not anyone can do that. Have you considered removing that one bit it green tree reflection on the very top of the car on the one side..? Cause this just rocks Dale, well done! You're making the hubby drool, lol. #6368347Dale Hardin August 25, 2008
thanks Christine. Yes I'd considered that and had wished it wasn't there. However, I felt I wasn't good enough with PSE to attempt it and get the reflective look to match the left side. But you've inspired me and maybe I'll take a stab at it. What the heck, I can always erase it, right? #6368639

Sh-h-h-h Irene. Don't give my secret away. :-) LOL #6368644Dale Hardin August 25, 2008
Thanks for the encouragement Aimee. Like most men I have tunnel vision and don't multitask well. When I'm on a shoot all I can do it point and click and would get lost trying to get info. Afraid I'd miss a shot. #6368662Dale Hardin August 26, 2008
Hi Christine. Thanks for the advise. Here is the corrected image.#6370549
