This Romanticist palace is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the Seven Wonders of Portugal. Transformed from the ruins of an old monastary in the 1800's, it served as the summer residence for the royal families of Portugal.
It's good to be back after an extended vacation....congratulations to all last month's finalists and winners announced while I was away.
