While strolling along Chicago's lakefront, I came across these people and their dog standing at the the top of a hill overlooking the lake. They seemed deeply involved in a conversation and, consequently, I became deeply involved in capturing the moment. Shortly after I made this exposure, they hugged and the man parted to the right while the woman and her dog left in the opposite direction.

With a good eye and great timing you "John" can find super candid photos. What a fine example. Studio shots are wonderful, but finding this in everyday life beats them all hands down. #4257598John Caruso May 07, 2007

My first thought before reading the description was a "goodbye". We'll never know unless you go back up there and sit around waiting for them to pass by again and ask.Bob #4258143

The hill has a feel of "loneliness". I think it is because of the vastness of the sky. Your comp here works very well. #4258388Katarina Mansson May 07, 2007
