Golden Pond

Cove Bay, Hopeman, Moray, Scotland.
Pentax 67II, 45mm lens 0,6ND grad F22 at 1/2 sec, Velvia.
Usually the sea is very calm in the summer months around Hopeman but on this occasion a north wind was blowing and the temperature had dropped markedly. The sun was almost coming into the lens and very careful shading was required to prevent lens flare. The resulting light does add tremendous drama and color to the scene and the little pool nestles very prettily amongst the golden cobble stones.
