Great eye to catch this wonderful image Patricia, very well done and the lighting is perfect for this shot. #1095956Patti Coblentz March 10, 2009
Thanks, Ron...it's crazy, no? These critters have found an opening in our home somewhere and convene nightly on the chadelier! I would say they are thriving!!Beverley Scott March 10, 2009
Wow, Patti, I've never seen so many ladybirds in one location before. I can never find one in the garden when I want to take a photo and you've got so many in your home! Love the image with its tones, lighting and, of course, subjects! #7269428Patti Coblentz March 10, 2009
I know...I used to like them, but they have taken over!!! Not sure why...need to look into it. Anyway...thanks for the compliment, Bev...I appreciate it!Eugenio Diaz March 13, 2009
Spectacular lighting...AWESOME image and very well presented! #7280540Carol L. Fowler March 23, 2009
So they have invaded your home too. I vacuum them up everywhere. Someone told me that they were purposefully introduced to eat some other pest and they have taken over. Despite that tirade, it is a wonderful shot. #7321059Patti Coblentz March 23, 2009
Thank you very much Eugenio and Carol! Yes, Carol...they have...I'm their guest it sometimes seems!Mitch Spence April 09, 2009
Oh, look at that! They must have been tucked away somewhere near the fixture for the winter. Every spring there's a mass migration across the screen of my porch, but it hasn't begun quite yet. I love to watch them on the move and during the winter try to gently place those that kind of "come to" inside the house so they won't be harmed. #7388739Patti Coblentz May 05, 2009
Mitch...it is not fun when you almost eat them when they fall into your food, though! I don't kill them, but sure do shoo them away...they crawl all over my computer screen, too! #7489925Christine Lobsinger May 17, 2009

That's really funny, Christine! These are their little elevators, of sorts, I guess you could say...all heading to the convention on finding light! :) #7530807Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
