I just moved and I have woods in my backyard and saw an owl yesterday for the first time. I sure hope to see them more. This owl seems to live at your house is there anything I can do to attrack them?Linda A. Braddock November 05, 2012
Linda, Thankyou. If you put food out, live mice, frozen, but thawed mice, Chicken strips or beef strips, and put it where you think they will see the food, you have a good chance on getting one to come. I also have a book that does bird calls, and sometimes an owl call will help. Hope you get one to come. #10405139John Connolly November 05, 2012
What a wonderful portrait Linda! You are indeed fortunate to have a resident owl living with you! #10405746Linda A. Braddock November 05, 2012
John, Thankyou so much, right now she is off either checking out her territory or playing. Been gone 4 days. These owls do this off and on, we hope she will be back soon, we miss her. #10405867Karen Slagle December 14, 2012
I've not visited your site for awhile, Linda, but I'm still amazed with your bird images...They are all fabulous and full of details, just don't know how you do it. Love your digital darkroom work also, and the feathers you put with your copyright are perfect. #10464036Linda A. Braddock December 14, 2012
