Wilkerson Dawn, Wide
Uploaded: June 13, 2006 10:30:19
June 12 moonset at dawn at Wilkerson Pass, CO. I have never entered such a wide photo but this one seemed to cry out for the larger size. This was shot a bit later as the moon took on an orange hue through the thick atmosphere. It's two Mamiya 7 (6x7cm) frames stitched for the panorama. Quite a bit was cropped off at top and bottom. Tripod-mounted Mamiya 7, 150mm lens on Velvia 100F. 1/2 second at f/16. Scanned into Photoshop with Epson 4870.

This is excellent Tom. The deep colors convey early morning. I bet this would be an awesome series if shot all four seasons. #3065542Daniel G. Flocke July 25, 2006
