Photography to me provides an avenue for expression, healing, escape, and a source of contemplation. I often find that the pictures I take express or reflect the current mood I'm in. I like to think of photography as an outlet (for inward expression) and an inlet (for outward stimulation). Oh yeah, I should add, it's also just a lot of darn fun, too!

May 21, 2012, an update on equipment. Having been off of BetterPhoto for a couple of years, I have in the interim changed systems, switching from Canon to Nikon. I currently use a Nikon D-1, and a D-90.
My lenses are a Nikkor 18-35mm, Nikkor 40mm Micro, Nikkor 105mm Micro, Nikkor 70-300mm, and a Vivitar 400mm
