Color processing and especially color printing are not normally recommended for hobbyists. The developing process has very little tolerance for temperature and time variances, the chemicals are not environmentally friendly (check with your local authorities on proper disposal, do not pour used solutions down the drain). WRT printing, you cannot use a safelight and the printer is a much more involved, expensive rig with provision for color balancing. Still, if one is determined, it can be done. There's a safe light. Just might as well not be a safe light.
