Cameras and Magnets Not sure if this is the right area to ask but I just realized today that I had put my magnetic name badge into a bag with 5 rolls of used films. Are they just destroyed? Is there anything you can do to minimize the effect? How bad are magnets for films? Thanks.

No effect. Film is unaffected by magnetic fields.

Yep, no effect with magnets, just don't take them through an X-ray machine at a local airport. Ask for hand inspection of them.
