Technical question I wanted the DVD that came with my Canon Rebel XTi camera. The host recommended setting your LCD screen to the brightest setting. Why would you set your LCD at the brightest or set it at the darkest? Shouldn't it be set at the brightness that looks similar to your computer screen?

Dear Meghan, It depends on the ambient light in which you are looking at the display. Hope it helps, Regards, Bojan

Personally, I would recommend setting your LCD brightness to a naked eye view which corresponds with what are the optimal (actual) exposure parameters. If, like many, you use your pre-viewing screen to spot-check exposures, you could easily be misled by a screen which is set too brightly. Then, you would find out later when you upload your images, that your photos were actually underexposed. It's also wise to scrutinize your in-camera exposures in a deeply shaded place so the the effects of sun glare won't become a factor in your primary editing/deleting process.

haha Gregory! :) Did you also realize the last name is alphabetical? I was going to say thank you Mr. ___ and realized since the last name is just the first letter it would be "thank you Mr. B and Mr. C" made me laugh out loud
