apertures If I were to photograph a subject using an electronic flash at two meters in diffused sunlight, what aperture should be used with a shutter speed of 1/60 to avoid overexposure if normal exposure is 1/125 at f/5.6?

That depends on how much light the flash adds to the sunlight. For just the sunlight 1/60 would be f/8. Since you don't have a light meter, if your flash has auto settings, if you put it on the lowest power setting, I bet you could get close if you had the camera at f/9,f/9.5 to f/11. You can also try to figure it out by the guide number of the flash, and use the flash on manual at different power settings. But it's quick and simple to try different apertures a few times instead.
