A Galaxy of Shooting Stars
Uploaded: June 17, 2005
For some reason there are more of these shooting stars than fireweed this year.

Great image Gary. Everything about it is good - the low angle from which it was taken, the horizontal 'layers' of colour with the purple shade warming it up nicely. The snow covered mountain is of course beautiful and the sky is perfect. Wonderful job. #264584Carol Brill June 17, 2005
Very eye-catching combination with the purple and blue tones, Gary, and lovely composition with each layer in the shot making its own appealing contribution to this beautiful image as a whole! #1479973Paul Michko June 17, 2005

Thanks again, Carolyn. This is an example of how prolific these shooting stars are this year. Usually you just found a few large patches in this area but this year its filling the fields. #1508374Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
