f/32, 1/30 sec, Canon 70-200mm 2.8 L, Tripod, Taken April 14, 7:30 A.M. in the sand dunes near Stopepipe Wells, Death Valley, CA. I was hiking to the top of the tallest dune when another hiker past me. I set up my tripod and waited until he reached the peak. Just as I got him framed in my view finder he sat down. I yelled at him, because he was quite a distance away, and ask him if he would mind standing a moment. This was the resulting photograph. He later asked me to take his picture with his own camera. - AIV
