Moon Lighting
Uploaded: December 20, 2002
It's about the light source....not my job :-) The only source of light in this photo is the incredibly bright moonlight! The lake was covered with a thin layer of ice and it was so quiet that you could hear it cracking all over the lake.

It was beautiful to be there and see this magical scene, but it brings me even more pleasure to be able to share it with all of you! I am exceedingly grateful for all of your enthusiastic comments!!Thomas & Murry; This panorama was in fact made out of 3 photos & stitched together with Panorama Factory (The best stitcher I've found yet).
Jill; It was shot with a Sony DSC F707, f2.0 & 15 sec. exposure. I set the exposure for the brightest part of the scene and then kept it the same for all 3 shots which is why they blended so well.
Thanks again, everyone :-) #33515

A Must-winner IMO!!!! I don't know if you have ever seen "Chased by the light" by Jim Brandenburg. this is a photograph that would fit perfectly into that series. I am totally in awe, Gary, really!Gary H. Minish May 26, 2019
