I really liked the contrasting angles of these trees, particularly with the way the snow accentuates the one that has fallen. Made at the Morton Arboretum in Lisle, IL.

Awesome snow scene with the fallen tree providing a great design element. Well presented in black and white, John!! #589471John Caruso January 17, 2007

I like your snow scene, John! The leaning tree adds such dimension to the image. Before I read the caption my first thought was, "He must live in Illinois!" Sure enough. It looked just like this here, the other day. Nice design and tones, and I like the quiet winter mood! #3830456John Caruso January 17, 2007
Nadya--It's nice to hear from a "local!" Thanks for taking a look, and for commenting. I appreciate your insights. #3830486

When I see wonderful snow pictures (like this one) I wish we had snow here (near Sacramento, CA). But that goes away when I remember frozen toes and big shovels! The strong graphic is what I like best.Teri #5175929
