Description

f/3.5, 1/180s, 100mm (35 mm equi 159 mm), ISO 100. Taken just after sunset on the Dofasco 2000 Trail in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada (a great place to visit!) Still working on a miniature screen! AK! That's the real moon, not Photoshopped in (you can probably tell!)

Sunset transforms the world with golden color.

I love your composition on this one - With the tree just peeking in the frame! #374523

Thanks, Tammy, I appreciate your kind and speedy comment! I just posted it!

The tree was on a hill, so the sun had set for me, but the tree, an apple tree, was in the last dying rays of the sun. #2287299

Love the longarama on this Mary. But I have to see the thumbnail to appreciate the composition. I would love a flat screen that I could twist into portrait! What an excellent subject for transformation!!! #2287443

Thank you Pat and Kate for your kind and thoughtful comments.

Too bad I don't have the same scene in normal daylight to emphasize the power of the transformation of the late light. The leaves were not this color! #2287693
