i love this picture. it reminds me of a rare lily that grows only in the cahaba river in Jefferson County, AL, called the Cahaba Lily. you should google it, really pretty flowers #1453913

Thank you for your comments, Deborah. I did Google the Lily on your suggestion. Yes there are similarities. Hymenocallis coronaria is the Latin name for the Cahaba Lily while the Latin of this cultivar is Hymenocallis littoralis so they seem to be from the same family. I live in Queensland, Australia where these lilies thrive in the wet summers and their flowers delight me. #10075546
