Good Bye Sweet Ones [Cute Cats]
Uploaded: June 10, 2008 06:35:01
I had to take the 2 mama cats and 4 kittens to the pound yesterday. I could not keep them and could not find good homes. Before I have put a sign out for Free Kittens and gave them away. I found out latter most were not fixed and continue to produce more unwanted animals. I could not do it this time. There is only a 20% chance that they will be adopted. Probably put to sleep. The pound charges $50-$70 to adopt a homeless animal and this includes fixing and shots. Much cheaper than a Vet. Please get your animals fixed and go to your local shelter and adopt a homeless animal instead of buying one from a cat or puppy mill. Take any strays to your local shelter. It will be a while before I will be over this.

Awesome image and message. Peter #6044676Kathleen Rinker June 10, 2008
I am sorry you had to do that. Our shelters are so overrun with cats that they won't take anymore. People leave them outside the shelter doors at night, it's awful!!! #6044813Bill Knaps June 10, 2008
Cute shot, but sorry you had to do that. Bill #6045514Stefania Barbier June 10, 2008

So sad, I hope someone adopts these adorable kitties, Kathy. I've taken in 6 homeless cats over the past 13 years. I always see to it that they're vaccinated, spayed or neutered as early as possible, even though they all live indoors. Every responsible pet owner should do this to help control the population of homeless animals. #6076329Terry L. Ellis June 24, 2008
I feel your pain! The shot is so beautiful, almost poignant and goes with your sad story and plea, Kathy. I hope people listen up! #6102424Kaye Burazin July 01, 2008
My heart goes out to you as I am in the same situation as you. We do not have a fix and release program in Arkansas and due to this we have had to put several of our feral cats down. We have found a vet that will fix the last four from our broad of inherited cats that came with our new home here in Bull Shoals Ar. They will be released back into our care so they will continue their lifes without becoming a problem on our community. We have cared for these animals at our own expense and will continue to do so. #6130209Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
