First Place Prize - December 2000 Contest

This has to be one of the most intriging photos that I have ever seen. I would like to know what lens was used. Color saturation like this in a fog scene has been virtually impossible for me so I would assume that you used a wide angle lens at a close range with slide film. Am I CORRECT? Whenever I have used a telephoto lens in the fog it compressed the fog so much that any color in the scene tuned pastel. Would you please explain how you acheived this effect. Thank you. Wow, That was in 2001 and in One day it will be Jan 2015. Many years ago. It goes to show that a great shot is always great no matter how experienced we get at shooting images ourselves. Someday I'll find a similar scene and capture it and think of you. Wish that you were here to see this comment.
