Wonderful colour layers here! I like it that you've focused on the middle! You could improve your image by sharpening the middle layer to really make it pop out. I'd love to see a new version like that! Very pretty photo:-) #429747Scott Thomas March 18, 2004
Thanks for the lovely feedback. What is the best way to sharpen the middle layer using Photoshop elements? I only been taking photos since x-mas and hence am a bit of a newby especially to photoshop. #429838Leanne M.E. Boyd March 18, 2004

Wow! This is really a breathtaking image. I love your use of selective focus and the vivid color. If you just started at Xmas, you're doing fantastic.Jean Ray #435261

I have the full version, so I can only tell you what I do in that one!First you use the lasso tool to mark the area you want sharpened, then you right-click on the mouse, press "feather (3)", then you go into filters and choose "sharpen". I think that's about it! If I haven't made myself clear, feel free to ask me again! I like to help:-)

Thanks for the tip. Here is the result. I think you can an improvement - my eye seems to be drawn more into the sharpened area. #437882Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
