Thanks for all the kind comments...Nancie, I used the Nik Color Efex Pro 3.0 Midnight Filter with the Blur, Brightness and Color sliders set to 100%, Contrast to 15% or so... and Shadow and Highlights controls adjusted to protect the shadows.
Additional curves adjustments done in CS3 after the filter was applied. Hope this explains it well enough... #7191028
