A Novel Past [Contest Finalists March 2006]
Uploaded: March 02, 2006 08:20:15
Base picture one I took a long time ago. There was too much light on the front corner of the desk, I went back to retake picture and the scene no longer existed so this is a combination of many pictures made into tubes and put together to make 1. The funky flowers were lifted from my Printmaster program and though I could have used something else I felt they somehow belonged. Then I did a Depth script on the whole picture.
Any and all critiques welcomed. Thanks

Charlene, this is stupendous! Love this photo! A perfect combination here - the subject matter, the treatment, the light, everything "Works" with a capital W. Once again, terms I'm not familiar with (Depth script??) but whatever avenue you took, you achieved a wonderful result! #2502314Wendy Stevenson April 25, 2006

Hi Charlene. I really like this image. In particular, I like the texture and the way the image "loads up" on the right. I think the flower is vital: it holds the composition together. Steve #2961275Diana L. Ralph June 28, 2006

Hi Kathy,Bonnie C. Lackey December 13, 2007
I just enjoyed a stroll thru your gallery and fell in love with this. From all the crumpled sheets of paper, the flowers, and the fan to that full ashtray, this is so rich in believable details. Wonderful treatment, too! #5205099Charlene Taylor December 13, 2007
