Learning Respect [Rest and Relaxation]
Uploaded: September 04, 2012 15:32:14
The greatest leason to teach little ones is respect of all living things. Hawaii has laws protecting the sea turtles that come up to the shores to rest. However, many are often unware of them and indirectly cause harm or get hurt.

Thanks so much! This was one of those candid moments I just had to post. :) We were very blessed to be able to live in Hawaii and learn so much about a beautiful place. #10311277David M. Montero September 09, 2012
I am reminded of a poem writen by an American Indian: "Know the animals. For you do not know you fear and what you fear you destroy." I like this capture because it demonstrates the relevence of this poem. I am well aware of the Hawaiian Green Sea Turtle (Honu) and the need to protect their environment and I am happy to see you are teaching your children the same. Wonderful capture Gina! #10316094Gina M. Savage September 13, 2012

What a fabulous capture, Gina! I used to live on the island of Oahu! Isn't it beautiful? I guess things have changed a lot since I lived there! Your daughters (I'm assuming that's who they are) look so adorable from the back! I think they want to get the turtle moving! Ha! Ha!Katherine Kuhn October 31, 2012
