Thank you guys, Leanne, Cathy, Arya and Bill. These little guys - which are actually a weed - grow here all year round. As a kid we called them 'rabbit food' and ate them. They have a real tangy taste and fortunately are not poison. #1150061Nobu Nagase March 05, 2005
Beautiful trio!!!Laurence Saliba March 05, 2005
WOW so nice!!! We have like these Marsha here but they are yellow!! The pink ones like those are kept only by a few people (my mother has some actually) but they are not in bloom yet. The wild yellow ones are very very common!! #1150208Kara L. Hendricks March 05, 2005

Hi Marsha! Thank you for visiting my gallery and the nice words about my images, I appreciate you taking the time and I think your gallery is wonderful! :) #1155507DiAnna F. Paulk March 08, 2005
Marsha, this is one of my favorite in your gallery! The colors are beautiful and the composition is very strong. I love wood sorrel -- it use to bloom around the home in which I grew up. I didn't know what it was called, but it always makes me think of "home." #1157416Marsha S. Smith March 08, 2005
DiAnna, I have 2 huge clumps of this stuff that a neighbor gave me. I thought it was the same thing as the wild "rabbit food" I grew up with. But I compared the flowers today and they are a little different. There is also a yellow version. I have shots of all three and will put them into the discussion so you can see. Thank you so much for your comments. #1157581Marsha S. Smith March 08, 2005
DiAnna, here are the other two sorrels. They are both wild and grow all over here. #1157622Marsha S. Smith March 08, 2005
