Hi Diane,

Thankyou for the message and sorry for the late reply. We've been away during the week (New York City - I took some nice pics!) and I've been "off-line".
So now Im set to log in and download the first assignment. I must be candit in that I feel I am the weak link in this group, cuz I've never taken a single formal portrait - but I sure would like to learn how.

What a coincidence on us two Montrealers with some indirect history, taking this same course!

Hey Colin - welcome back! I figured you must be out of town!
Don't worry - I've never taken a formal portrait either - although I've bought the goodies to create a studio (on a very tight budget in a tiny room) but I've still yet to shoot anyone but myself.
We'll have fun learning - I've already learned so much.
Don't be afrait to ask questions -everyone seems very helpful!
It is quite a small world that we're taking the class together - I'm happy though!
