A Pretty Pixel

This is the name of my new photography business. I took a photo of a store, erased the name on the awning. Added some PS filters, desaturated, added my name, added color to select areas, and this is the finished product. I might decide to use it in my mailings or business cards. Feedback is appreciated.

Very creative and I like the name along with the splashes of color. Very well done Terry!! #106475Murry Grigsby May 26, 2019
Nice photo and PS work, Terry. I have two thoughts to share: 1)You need to be careful using a photo of someone elses building in your ads/mailouts/etc. without their permission and 2) This really isn't the kind of image I associate with Terry Gee. Now I don't know exactly what your new business is but some of your photos are so gorgeous that I'd be tempted to add text to one of your proven winners. Just my thoughts :0) #106549Terry Gee May 26, 2019

Your "Floating Flame", "Night Light", "Pretty in Pink", "Tucked In", etc., etc. are all very graphical in natural. They are so simple and bold compared to "A Pretty Pixel" that is busy and a bit cluttered. I would think you'd want your company name to stand out without any competition from the image. I'll shut up now because I'm sure you know your market, likes and dislikes much better than me. But who knows I might be your customer someday and you know the customer is always right :0) Best wishes with you endeavor, Terry. #106594Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
