You mean you laid the locket on a flat bed scanner and scanned it? Wow, better than some macros, Carole. #106069Carole Bradford May 26, 2019
Thanks for the comments Bill and Murry - Yes - I put the locket on the scanner (Canon FB1210U) and just scanned away - just cropped the image and added borders - think it does a great job. I am going to experiment with other objects - this is a new technique for me! Hope you like it! #106141Shirley L. Carpenter May 26, 2019

I wish I had a scanner like that...wow some detail! I think you've composed this gorgeous piece very well. Especially your presentation with the frame is top notch! #106764Carole Bradford May 26, 2019
Thanks for the comments Shirley and Mette - I think any scanner will work! Have a try - I'm playing with other variations on the theme and am still amazed at what can be done! #106771Mette Vendelboe Allison May 26, 2019
I have scanned many pictures, and not one of them had this detail, so you've got a good one - trust me! #106774Carole Bradford May 26, 2019
Hi Mette - this scanner is only somewhat better than my old HP with photo images but it seems to scan items very well! I have tried in the past to scan items on the HP for other projects but can't remember if the detail was as sharp!
