A chinese water plant that is said to bring good fortune when kept in your home.

Gee Ron... last time I checked in here, you had a flower that looked like it was suffering from 'brewers droop', and now you have a plant that looks like it grew up around a corkscrew... must be some partyhouse you live in :-) Your lighting on this is again beautiful, and I like the panoramic crop. #31948Ron Goldman May 26, 2019
Thank you Tracy! That would be one giant corkscrew! The twist in the stem is accomplished by using a very small light source which makes the plant lean towards it. By turning it a little every day, you get the twisted stem look. Since the plant is just in a water filled vase, it makes it very easy to keep it growing like this. As for the drooping Gerbera, well.... that's another story! #86769Suzie Strasburg May 26, 2019
Love it!!!!!!!Detail,presentation,color,subject....wonderful. #86804Ron Goldman May 26, 2019

Ron- I love the vertical pano format you've been using, it works perfectly here. Great lighting and composition, but I've come to expect no less from you. :) #86916Ron Goldman May 26, 2019
Thank you Kathleen! You are too kind! I was thinking of re-shooting this with a little hat on the leaves. What do you think? ;) #86947Gary H. Minish May 26, 2019
Nice picture and the verticle pan was a good choice, Ron! It appears though, that if that plant has any luck at all, its that it's alive :-) #86948Kathleen Clemons May 26, 2019
If you put a hat on it, I won't make a peep. ;) #86956Ron Goldman May 26, 2019
Thanks Gary! Lucky for the plant, I have two green thumbs!Ruth Denton May 26, 2019
