It was -20 Celsius that night... Even my tripod was frozen...

Beautiful shot Robert! Great composition, lighting and colors! I know what you mean about the cold temps - I was out driving, looking for moose one year when it was -37 celcius (when it gets that cold, they come down from the higher elevations). I spotted a huge bullmoose just off the road, so I jumped out, threw off my mitts and started shooting. My fingers kept sticking to the camera, I could barely change the film when it came time, but I managed to shoot off a couple of rolls. I'll have to track down those shots! I felt like a popsicle by the time I got back in my truck! I think the colder days give some of the best photos, though, as evidenced by yours!Cathy :) #36076

Dear Thomas, Kelly, Carol, Cathy and Carol!Thank you everyone for your kind comments! I really appreciate it.
I agree that frosty weather gives some extra punch to images.
My batteries were flat in no time, too. And the ice grew on the body and lens where I held the camera! On one occassion the shutter even jammed open!
Again, thank you for taking time to write and I wish you a Happy New Year!
