Hi Bernard, Cathy and William:My husband is from this area.....it is pretty unique! You have to be discreet to photograph Amish people......it is against their religion.....so you try to capture a shot without them knowing it. There are many from his area....all wear black, no electricity...no cars, etc....You travel the roads, sometimes going 50-60 mph, only to come to a horse & buggy and then you brake! They still have their own markets, windmills, etc.....Completely different lifestyle!
