Carolyn, this is a beautiful picture. The position of your model (daughter?), seen as composition, is great. Did you, by the way, use Sherpa colors for this picture?? ;>) #14248

Thank you Henny. My model (niece) is a natural! I used Ilford fp2 400 film, then when I scanned it I had to take out some blue because it looked a little too purpleish.
I have two more nephews coming over this afternoon for more pictures... #26732

Thank you very much!! I also have a backdrop that is slightly lighter, do you think it would have been better? I personally like the black, but it has been suggested that the lighter one would be better. Comments? #26768

Personally I quite like the dark background. The main thing is that you light the hair so your model is separated from the background, which you've done here. #26770
