Thank you Carolyn. I shot for two days at GSDNM with three different digital cameras. It was my favorite stop during a ten day trip to Colorado in August, starting in Cripple Creek with stop offs at Black Canyon, Silverton, Mesa Verde and Great Sand Dunes. I've submitted several photos from that trip already and I'm sure I will be posting others soon. #25174

I plan on going to Colo. next year, maybe in the spring. You can tell me what to see maybe?? #25189

Thank you Leehman. I intend to post a few more that I think turned out well, over the next few days and weeks, right here at BP.

Carolyn. Spring in the Rockies sounds fantastic! The list of great sites for photography there could fill a book, but Rocky Mountain National Park is a must. With 55 mountains over 14,000 ft. in the state, numberous canyons and other geographical wonders, there is a landscape photo op around every corner. The Sangre de Cristo range Southwest of Pueblo is astounding with the Sand Dunes, Kit Carson Peak and about a dozen other 14,000 footers. #25223
