Thank you Lorraine, Ellen and Carol - whenever there's a stick involved, he becomes sooo focused!Lorraine: Skip is a mixed breed. He's the family dog (lives with mom and dad). We know his mom is shepherd/collie cross and her owner figured the dad was possibly Akita (Skip does have the tail that curls over). He's an excellent guard as mom and dad found out the other night when a stranger walked into their house and a fight ensued between two men they didn't know. But to us, he is such a sweetheart. He's ten years old now, but still has so much pep and spirit.
Carol: Yup, I threw the stick! I had the stick in one hand and the camera in the other, and Skip wouldn't stop barking, so this is a mid-bark shot. I have another one I'll post tomorrow that I got as he was catching the stick.
Thanks for all your comments - they're much appreciated, as always!
