Albany Brook - White Mountains [Photography Contest Nature & Landscape Photos]
Uploaded: November 08, 2005 03:38:09
Unusually heavy rains turned this modest brook into a torrent during peak foliage in New Hampshire's White Mountains. Steady rains saturated the foliage, and provided some extra sparkle of rain drops on branches. My Totes umbrella became my best friend during these outings. Pentax 45-85mm medium format lens, f22, polarizing filter, Fufi Velvia 100, Bogen tripod, 2-6 sec. exposure.

Thanks for the comments. Rain tends to make for some nice even exposure, though a little sun now and then would have been nice!Harry #2047623
