I love this Robert!! How did you get the effect in the background? #329809Robert A. Migliaccio October 20, 2005
Thank you Trisha. This backlit shot was taken with a 300mm F2.8 VR at F5.6, 1/1500, ISO 200, WB Cloudy-1 and -.3 EV. The bokeh of the lens is magnificent and the effect you see is the sparkling ocean behind the subject. Unfortunately, his hair is a little blown out - but that is the nature of the game with blond hair. #1972540Julie Abston October 20, 2005
Wow! This is a gorgeous portrait! The tones and the sparkles of the ocean really make this unique! I absolutely love it! Very well done, Robert! #1972677Robert A. Migliaccio October 20, 2005

Beautiful shot Robert! I love the light on the water and the warmth of the photo! Fantastic!! #1973247Robert A. Migliaccio October 20, 2005
Thank you Adrianna - the warmth comes from the white balance setting of "Cloudy-1". Even though it was taken in bright sun, I find that WB setting to provide great color and flesh tones. #1973297Tiffani S. LaNeave October 20, 2005
